Chickasha Animal Rescue Transport Association

Mission Statement

The Chickasha Animal Rescue Transport Association (CARTA) is dedicated to giving every shelter pet a second chance at life. Working alongside the Chickasha Animal Shelter, we rescue, foster, and transport dogs and cats to loving, permanent homes. Our network of dedicated fosters provides temporary care, offering animals a safe and nurturing environment while they await transport or adoption. Through community partnerships, compassionate care, and safe transport services, we strive to reduce shelter overcrowding and ensure that every pet finds the family they deserve. Our mission is to create a future where no adoptable animal is left behind.

Why Spay & Neuter?

Spaying and neutering cats and dogs is essential for controlling pet overpopulation and reducing the number of animals in shelters. Every year, millions of unwanted pets end up in shelters, and sadly, many never find homes. By spaying and neutering, we prevent unplanned litters, decrease overcrowding, and give more animals a chance at a loving home.
